Project description

The objective of the study was the identification of possible hypotheses for future use for the monumental ensemble of Bab Makina, in the Medina of Fez.

The activities carried out included different tasks, among which the most important were the detailed analysis of tourism infrastructure of Fez, the analysis of the historical site of Bab Makina, socio-economic surveys, public consultations, identification of possible future uses for the site, and preparation of an international architectural competition.
