Keios, in joint venture with Multidecon (Indonesia), has been hired by the Government of Indonesia, funded by the World Bank, to prepare the Integrated Tourism Master Plan for the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park and its surrounding area. It includes iconic natural assets such as Mount Bromo, Tengger caldera and Mount Semeru, Java’s highest mountain.
The master plan will include a 25-year phased overall development plan for the entire tourism destination area and a 5-year detailed development plans for prioritized key tourism areas; an investment and financing plan for infrastructure and services; and an institutional development program and a capacity building program.
The project team leader will be Peter Nizette, an international tourism expert working with Keios for many years, leading master planning assignments all around the world.
